The form has been so perverted and mutated... but, lest we forget! The word "Rock N' Roll" can be directly translated as:

Fucking. In the back of a car. By two (or more) people of indeterminate sex. Out of wedlock. Probably of significant age discrepancy.

It was never meant to give a "positive" message (Rock n Roll is bigger, more timeless than that). A "positive" message is what collegiate "Folk" music is for. But, then, the two got convoluted (thanks, Bob Dylan, ya fuck...), intellectuals dubbed rock n roll "Art", so they could be justified in listening to it.... on and on... but for some reason the word Rock n Roll survives. And that word means: Fuckin'
